Millions of people suffer from Rosacea. Usually is treated with cortisone cream, Alpha-Hydroxy Acids or AHA which also called Fruit Acids as: glycolic acid, citric acid, malic acid and others, Beta –Hydroxy Acids, Retin-A, Benzoyl Peroxide, Lactic Acid, Salicilic Acid, Vit-C creams, laser treatments, dermabrasion, chemical peeling, etc. These procedures and treatments are very harsh and damage the skin. Cortisone cream may help temporarily but not long term. These treatments and creams thin out the skin and create more skin irritation and the skin became more sensitive to the sun and more likely to get   skin cancer.

Rosacea could be related to heredity, types of food, or harsh cosmetic ingredients as: Alpha or Beta-Hydroxy, Vit. C, Hydrogen Peroxide, Chemical Sunscreens, perfumes, essential oils, high concentration of alcohol, harsh grainy scrubs, strong detergents in cleansers and soaps, crude petrolatum ingredients as: high concentration of propylene glycol that is used in many products on the market, isopropyl miristate, mineral oil, phenoxyethanol [preservative] etc. All these ingredients irritate the skin and cause more dryness.

Rosacea condition produce 10 times more dead cells than a normal skin. Some may come to the eronious conclusion the skin is dry because of all the acumulated dead cells and use rich creams that will clog the pores and cause more blemishes. It is important to use only oil free moisturizers.

Many think that just one cream will be enough for rosacea skin care, it is not.

The proper Rosacea skin care products have ingredients that do not exasperate the condition. From cleansers, moisturizers to make-up and sunscreens. One wrong ingredient in a product  can ruin your rosacea skin care regimen.

Rosacea skincare products should be soothing and moisturizing without clogging the pores with rich creams.
