CHICET NATURAL EUROPEAN SKIN CARE PRODUCTS are formulated with the highest quality and the most beneficial ingredients, regardless of cost. We believe that the only way to formulate high quality cosmetic products is by not being concerned with the cost of the ingredients but to give greatest importance to the quality, quantity and performance of the ingredients used. With such an approach to skin care products we are certainly different.

We have come to regard our products as unequaled in quality and performance and we have certainly tried and analyzed every new skin care product we have come across over the years. Our skin care technique was brought from Europe, but a Europe of 70 years ago, before the mass market quick fix approach to skin care that is so evident today all over the world.

We also take advantage of the tremendous scientific skin care advances of our present day, resulting in extraordinary ingredients such as: Natural Soluble Collagen, Hydrolyzed Elastin,  Sodium Hyaluronate

Conjugated Glyco Peptides - spleen extract for oxygenating the skin and Saccharide Isomerate Natural Carbohydrate Complex. We use the above ingredients in quantities much higher than any cosmetic product on the market today, regardless of cost.

Our skin care products never contain Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, AHA Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Vitamin C, Propylene Glycol, Triethanolamine, Isopropyl Myristate, colors, dyes,  perfumes or essential oils (for use on the face).

go back to the original methods of making cosmetics. Our cosmetic products are formulated with natural emulsifiers and emollients such as beeswax and 100% vegetable and animal oils.

Most cosmetic companies have stopped formulating cosmetic products in this way many decades ago, with the arrival of petroleum derived ingredients and ammonia based emulsifiers such as triethanolamine (T.E.A.).

We use no mineral oils, no petrolatum, no paraffin, no ozokerite, no ceresin, all of which are derived from crude petroleum, and are alien to the body and therefore incapable of replacing skin fat. On the contrary, application and rubbing off may lead to a degreasing of the skin.

Petroleum products do not penetrate the skin; they are not even absorbed by it. Many active substances are less well absorbed when a petroleum base is used. Petroleum inhibits the secretion of perspiration by 40-60%.

When larger skin areas are covered with preparation containing petrolatum or mineral oils, heat build up might result.

Hair follicles and sweat gland orifices could become obstructed. They often lead to the formation of comedones and other symptoms of irritation.

Perfumes and essential oils cause allergic reactions in many people, reactions such as skin irritations, rashes and acne. When perfumes and essential oils are added to eye creams, puffiness and irritation around the eyes may occur. Alcohol in facial creams can dry the skin. It also may cause rashes or a burning sensation on the skin surface.

Dyes and coloring agents can also produce allergic reaction in sensitive people. Unscented products may contain chemicals to mask the unpleasant odors of some of the ingredients used. We do not use such chemicals.

Skin care products today are manufactured and marketed for mass appeal without concern for the considerably high percentage of persons who are sensitive and to whom these ingredients cause adverse reactions.
